Installation

CertaPro AcoustaBoard Black can be installed rapidly and is easily cut to fit around obstructions and structural members. The black faced side of the board should be installed toward the interior side of the structure. AcoustaBoard Black insulation is applied to spandrel, pre-cast concrete panels, and to gypsum board surfaces with adhesives or mechanical fasteners. Boards may also be installed using hat channels or Z studs. These installation recommendations are general in nature. Other methods are acceptable. Please consult local building codes for recommendations best suited to the application.
