DESCRIPTION

STARSEAL EF STRIPPER is an eco-friendly all natural industrial grade remover of many types of coatings from a variety of horizontal and vertical surfaces. Starseal EF Stripper will effectively and safely remove paints, varnishes, urethanes, epoxies, sealers, acrylics, floor waxes, adhesives and curing compounds from concrete, masonry, brick, stone and wood. Starseal EF Stripper will penetrate and remove multiple layers of coatings using less material than traditional stripping products in one application saving time and cost. Starseal EF Stripper is derived from soybean oil which is an environmentally friendly bio based agricultural material making it user safe, low odor and is easily cleaned up with water.

APPLICATION

• Mix well prior to application to a uniform consistency.
• Apply a thick uniform layer with a brush, squeegee or airless sprayer.
• Allow the stripper time to soften the coating. The roller product will remain wet for several hours.
• During the stripping process periodically check the stripping action. If the coating is soft enough that it can be removed with a scrapper then proceed to remove the entire coating.
• Remove the coating with a floor machine equipped with nylon bristle brush, steel wool, and stone media or by scraping.
• Reapply if necessary to remove any remaining material.
• Stripping can be facilitated by sprinkeling fine sand over area

• Do not apply to plastic, PVC or rubber
• Protect all surrounding plant and vegetation with a plastic drop cloth.
• Surface area should be tested to prevent damage to substrate.
• If applying out doors or interior hot or dry conditions cover the area with light plastic drop cloth.
• Do not allow the product to dry on the surface. Keep wet by applying additional material.

COVERAGE

Typical application rate is 500-1000 ft²/gal (12.5-25 m²/L) depending on porosity, texture and form material. Conduct a test application to verfy the proper application rate for your use.
