Premium high solids performance, deep penetration, water base clear water repellent sealer for best protection against salt corrosion, water, wind driven rain, airborne contaminants and freeze thaw cycles.
POWERSEAL 40 is a premium high performance breathable, efficient water base clear penetrating water repellent sealer that deeply penetrates into new (14 day minimum) or existing concrete and masonry surfaces. Surfaces treated with PowerSeal 40 have a totally natural appearance. PowerSeal 40 stops the intrusion of water, salts, deicer chemicals, and acid rain, which often result in efflorescence, mildew growth, corrosion, scaling, spalling, surface erosion, and other costly damage to hard surfaces. PowerSeal 40 penetrates into the pores and capillaries of the cement based materials reacting with the moisture and chemicals in the substrate, polymerizing and sealing the pores, which prevents water, chemical and chloride ion penetration. PowerSeal is specially formulated with a reduced evaporation rate so more of the active ingredients react with the substrate rather than evaporate with the solvent or water as with similar products. Material efficiency is increased, making PowerSeal more effective than competitive products
Engineered for transportation, commercial, industrial, distribution and institutional structures
PowerSeal water repellents are produced with Vexcon's proprietary protective colloid emulsion technology. This technology prevents premature hydrolysis of the silane with the water used as a carrier in the emulsion. Premature hydrolysis is a process that reduces the effectiveness of water repellents.
07 19 16: Low VOC water repellent. VOC content less than 100 grams/liter. Meets or exceeds NCHRP 244 Series IV test, reducing water and salt penetration by minimum 90%. Ten year warranty. Manufactured by Vexcon Chemicals.
PowerSeal 40 is available in 55 gallon drums and 5 gallon pails. Contact Vexcon directly to discuss your customized packaging requirements
Porosity and texture of the surface will affect the amount of material necessary for effective treatment. The following is a guide for estimating total material requirements. Always test on the actual surface to get precise consumption rates
Starseal EF Stripper is available in 55-gallon drums, 5-gallon pails and 1-gallon containers. Contact Vexcon to discuss your customized packaging requirements
Typical application rate is 500-1000 ft2/gal (12.5-25 m2/L) depending on porosity, texture and form material. Conduct a test application to verfy the proper application rate for your use.
