DESCRIPTION

CERTI-VEX CONCRETE STRIPPER strips concrete floors and other concrete surfaces with relative ease. Removes many types of coatings from concrete such as sealers, curing compounds, urethanes, and epoxies in addition to floor waxes and adhesives. After use, Certi-Vex Concrete Stripper is emulsifiable with water and general cleaners to yield a stripped concrete surface that is clean and ready for subsequent treatments. Use Certi-Vex Concrete Stripper Vertical for vertical applications

APPLICATION

• Do not thin Certi-Vex Concrete Stripper. It is supplied at the proper consistency for most effective action.
• Scrape or brush the surface to be stripped with a wire brush or broom to remove loose and flaking coating or residual dirt.
• Mix well prior to each application to a uniform consistency.
• Apply Certi-Vex Concrete Stripper brush, squeegee, roller or airless sprayer in a heavy uniform application.
• Allow the stripper to soften the coating but do not allow the surface to dry.
• Keep wet with Certi-Vex Concrete Stripper.
• Once a gel has formed, remove the stripper and softened coatings with a floor machine equipped with nylon bristle brush, steel wool, stone media, or by scraping. During removal, apply additional Certi-Vex Concrete Stripper to further soften the coating. • Stripping can be faclitated by sprinkeling fine sand over area and scrubbing with a black pad on a swing machined.
• Rinse area with water. Make a second application if needed.
• After removal of the coating, clean the surface with Certi- Vex Super Degreaser & Cleaner.
• Application Rate: 75-150 sq. ft. per gallon depending on thickness and type of coating to be removed.
• Apply a test patch before any treatment application

• Do not apply to plastic, PVC or rubber
• Protect all surrounding plants and vegetation with a plastic drop cloth.
• Surface area should be tested to prevent damage to substrate.
• If applying out doors or interior hot or dry conditions cover the area with light plastic drop cloth.
• Do not allow the product to dry on the surface. Keep wet by applying additional material.

• If using a brush to apply the product do not apply like a paint.
• Shelf Life: If properly stored in its original sealed container, three years from date of manufacture. May require mixing. Rotate your stock. • Storage/ Handling: Store in tightly sealed original factory container. Keep from freezing and exposure to moisture. Store at room temperature prior to use. Care should be taken to keep dirt, water and contaminants away from the opening of containers.
• Delivery: Deliver materials to site in manufacturer’s original, unopened containers and packaging, with labels clearly identifying product name and manufacturer.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

• Caution, slippery when applied. Use care when walking. Spread sand for traction.
• Use only with adequate ventilation.
• Use of gloves, goggles and other protective clothing is advised when using this product.
• If swallowed, do not induce vomiting.
• Aspiration of materials into the lungs can cause chemical pneumonitis, which can be fatal.
• Use of respirators is advised when using this product in confined areas.

The stripper solution and/or materials may be classified as a hazardous material for purposes of disposal. This material should be kept in a separate container and local federal rules for disposal must be followed. Vexcon MSDS OP101 is an integral part of the safety and application of our product.
