Outriggers function to provide stability at the endpoints of guardrail systems, and are required at both ends of a continuous guardrail system, and at both ends of any interruption in a continuous guardrail system. The Outrigger Post is an ideal substitute for a standard size guardrail which is being used for the sole purpose of functioning as an outrigger.
