When applied, Formgard TJ Plus chemically reacts instantly with surface moisture, forming a waxy, protective coating. This coating chemically and physically welds to the surface and protects steel forms from rusting for up to six months. Steel forms treated with Formgard TJ Plus can be used in precast applications immediately without removing applied product, and the protective film doesn’t attract or hold dust.
